Daylight savings starts this weekend

Before heading to bed this Saturday night, remember to put your clocks forward an hour.

Daylight savings officially starts at 2am on Sunday 25 September.

We'd also like to remind Aucklanders that at midday on Sunday 25 September 2016, Auckland Civil Defence will be running the second of its twice-yearly checks of the tsunami sirens on the north and west Auckland coasts, coinciding with the beginning of daylight savings.
