Our dedicated team is looking for a Supervisor, to support our hospitality teams at a private hospital in Auckland, on a permanent full-time basis.

Your efforts will support the Ovation team to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients - and help us succeed as a business.  This role will:

-            Be the operational leader responsible for supporting our Hospitality Manager, Assistant Hospitality Manager, and Head Chef, in the seamless execution of catering and food services for our hospital client.

-            Have the primary objective of delivering exceptional, patient focused nutritional care, at the same time as ensuring strict adherence to all corporate policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards.

-            Drive operational excellence to support the site team and business in surpassing client expectations and achieving Ovation’s strategic objectives.

Core responsibilities for this role will include:

•             Operational leadership and kitchen management

•             Team development and workforce management

•             Quality assurance, and Health and Safety

•             Client relations and patient experiences

Note that this role will need to be flexible to work across a Monday to Sunday roster, between 6am and 8:30pm.

What we are looking for 

To hit the ground running, we are looking for:   

•             Essential: A minimum of 2 years' demonstrated supervisory experience at kitchen.

•             Desirable: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

•             Desirable: Supervisory experience specifically within a healthcare, hospital, or room service environment.

•             Desirable: Formal certification or a Diploma in Culinary Arts or Cookery.
