The Role
We are seeking an organized, dynamic, and enthusiastic Warehouse & Service Assistant to join our team in Penrose, Auckland. In this role, you will be a key part of our warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched on time. You will also provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, managing returns, and assisting both internal teams and customers to maintain smooth and efficient operations. Your contribution will help keep our warehouse organized, safe, and productive while supporting the overall success of PM-International in New Zealand.
Responsibilities
Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming inventory and supplies to ensure accuracy and quality
Pick, pack, and dispatch orders efficiently, ensuring products are handled with care
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including proper storage and labeling of stock
Assist with regular stock-taking, inventory management, and reporting discrepancies
Provide outstanding customer service, including:
Responding promptly to phone and email inquiries
Processing customer orders accurately
Managing returns, exchanges, and refunds professionally
Assisting customers with product questions and concerns
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or overages to the relevant teams
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
Relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, or customer service
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to task completion
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally
Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations
A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to contribute to a collaborative environment
Experience in delivering high-quality customer service in fast-paced settings
