오늘 헤랄드 경제면을 보니...
뉴*아 대표 교민 김ㅅㄹ 이 수입산 분말 로얄젤리로 캡슐을 만들어 뉴질랜드산으로 속여 팔다가 적발되어 Commerce Commision 으로부터 $16,000의 벌금형을 받았는데 같은 죄목으로 이번이 3번째 랍니다.
이 양반이 혹시 한인상공회 뭐 아니던가요?
회사이름이 NZ Korea Health Ltd.인지 뭔지 이던데 회사 이름에서 코리아를 빼던가...
자칭 교민인사라는 사람이 우리얼굴에 *칠 하고 다닙니다.
더군다나 장본인 이름도 'Jonathan Ken'으로 바꾼 모양이던군요.
자신의 성인 '김'을 버리고 '켄'으로 했습니다.
왜 일까요??

Fines for imported jelly with NZ label

A company that misled consumers about a product being sourced from local bees and made in New Zealand has been fined $16,000 in the Auckland District Court.
NZ Korea Health was fined after pleading guilty to nine breaches of the Fair Trading Act.
Sang Rae Kim, also known as Jonathan Ken, was also fined $12,000 after pleading guilty to two breaches of the act.
Kim was responsible for labelling the royal jelly as New Zealand sourced and made, and as being of superior quality when it was made from imported, powdered ingredients.
This is the third time the Commerce Commission has prosecuted Kim and his associated companies for such breaches.
NZ Korea Health labelled the imported royal jelly - a bee secretion used to feed larvae and used in dietary supplements - as a product of New Zealand, as made in New Zealand and used the Buy New Zealand Made logo.
It also had an image of a kiwi carrying the New Zealand flag with the wording "Kiwi and quality from New Zealand" on the product.
The only local ingredients were a small amount of white beeswax, used to preserve the royal jelly, and water used to make the capsule shell.
The company also said the product was of a high potency, when it wasnot.
Buy New Zealand Made spokeswoman Trina Snow said most businesses that said their products were made and sourced here were legitimate but some, especially in the health and tourism sectors, abused the brand.
"When companies are caught incorrectly labelling their products with country of origin, consumers are going to be weary of products claiming to be New Zealand made."
Snow said if businesses were caught using the label without being certified by the company, it "put a stop to it pretty quickly".
The commission said the misrepresentations on the label of the NZ Korea Health product were deliberate, and would have led consumers to pay more than the product was worth.
This is the third royal jelly case the commission has investigated where the product claimed false country of origin and potency.

이분도 이름이 몇개인가 보죠.....무슨 회장일때 이름 ..사업할 때 이름,.
어째 이리 말씀 잘하시는 분들도 많고, 건강식품뿐 아니라 어쩌다 교민 광고 보면
'한인사회에서 유일한'..최초의~~' 문구를 쓰시는 분들이 많은지...
그런분들은 더 신뢰가 안가는거 같아요 지대로 알고나 그런 광고를 하시는지...

어퍼퀸에 있는 뉴코아 말고 다운타운 옛날밥상 맞은편에 있는거 거기도 뉴코아였던가요?
거기서 파는게 greentop 제품이었는데
아무튼 뉴질랜드 청정 깨끗한 원료만 얼마든지 가져다 쓸 수 있는데도 불구하고
중국산과 다른 이물질을 사용해서 최저가로 저질원료에 비싸게 팔아먹고
사람 먹는 제품을 그렇게 만드는 업체들은 정말
생각만 해도 끔찍함. 게다가 3번째면 완전 추방당해야 하는게 아닌가요?
한국내에서도 아니고 해외에서까지 이러면서 한국인의 완전 이미지를 싸그리 다 짓밟아버리다니
게다가 벌금이 저거면 완전 공짜 수준이지
지금까지 수천배 이상 이익을 챙겨먹었을텐데
이제부터 조금 비싸더라도 뉴질랜드 현지회사 제품 현지인들 제품 제대로 알아보고 구매해야함
맨날 싸게 싸게 사람 먹는 음식이고 건강과 관련된건데 아무거나 싸구려 중국산이니

Apart from these producers falsely using the NZ made symbol, Why is this such a big deal? In this case NZ simply is best. Producers have being falsely improving the potency of their inferior imported powdered Royal Jelly that has lower standards and active ingredients than Fresh NZ Royal Jelly.
FACT: NZ Royal Jelly has the highest levels of active ingredients 10HDA worldwide. Royal Jelly’s active ingredients ‘10HDA’ is highly sought after worldwide because of the high potency of vitamins and proteins which can give a variety of health benefits.
New Zealand’s largest royal jelly producer Happy Valley Honey has been impacted by the actions of producers passing off inferior products and is concerned that the impact on their business for some time. This practice of false label claims has cost Happy Valley Honey alone, over $200,000 in potential business annually, says Mark Harvey, General Manager, Happy Valley Honey.
‘The current issue is ‘95% of the royal jelly market is sold in capsule form, but very little if any of the Royal Jelly included in the capsules is produced in New Zealand’. It is imported predominantly from China then lyophilised (freeze dried) into powder and mixed with other ingredients’ states Mr Harvey.
Royal jelly consumed in a natural liquid state is more beneficial as when taken it can be adsorbed directly via the salivary glands into the bloodstream thus providing the benefits that royal jelly is renowned for. Capsules are digested via the gut.
New Zealand fresh royal jelly is considered to be the best in the world, producers such as Happy Valley Honey are suggesting that consumers should:
-check labels before buying
-Ask about the source of the Royal Jelly
-Stick to purchasing from NZ Producers
Not all Royal Jelly being sold in NZ is from overseas manufacturers,
