Group 1- currently being vaccinated
If you’re a border or MIQ worker and have not been contacted, talk to your employer. If you live with a border or MIQ worker and have not been contacted, call Healthline on 0800 28 29 26 to confirm if your details are in the system.
Group 2- currently being vaccinated
If you are in Group 2 and have not been contacted, contact the Vaccination Helpline on 0800 28 29 26 (Auckland) or 0800 237 829 (Northland).
Group 3- currently being vaccinated
If you’re over 65 and live in the Auckland or Northland regions, you’ll receive your invitation to book a COVID-19 vaccination by Friday, 18 June. All invitations to Group 3, including people with underlying health conditions, will be issued by mid-July.
Group 4- being vaccinated from 28 July
We'll start vaccinating Group 4 from 28 July, starting with those aged 60 years and over. Everyone else will follow in age bands through until the end of 2021.
When it’s your turn, you can expect to get an invitation to book your vaccination. You will be able to book through the new national booking system, Book My Vaccine, or by phoning the national vaccination booking 0800 number. Book My Vaccine and the 0800 number will be live from 28 July.
People waiting for their age band to start will be able to register their details on Book My Vaccine from 28 July. Once bookings are open for your age group you will get an email or text letting you know it’s your turn to book.

The centre is located inside the Highbury Mall/Shopping Centre, at the top of the travelator and next to the Paper Plus bookstore.
Lift access is available by the Burger King drive-through.
Accessibility
Public Transport: The centre is well served with bus routes – to Albany, Takapuna and Britomart, Birkdale and Beach Haven. There are bus stops close to the Mall entrances on both Birkenhead and Mokoia Road.
Accessible toilets: Yes – but in the Highbury Shopping Centre.
Unisex toilets: Yes – for urgent use, post-vaccination only.
Accessible parking: Yes – two adjacent to the Burger King drive-through, accessed via the lower carpark or the access off Highbury Bypass. There is a mall lift near the parks. Additional accessible carparks are available in the lower and upper carpark, accessed via Hammond Place, off Birkenhead Avenue.
Drop off zones available: No.
Please note: Access from the lower car park is via a travelator or stairs. The upper car park only requires a short, level walk to the vaccination centre.
