관광으로 들어오신 어머니가 1달 체류후 영주권을 신청하시기로 맘을 잡으셨습니다.
관광비자는 6월 초까지이고 영주권을 지금 신청하고 6월전에 여권나오면 관광비자 다시 연장가능
한지요.... 아니면 영주권 신청시 비자 남은기간이 몇개월 더있어야 하는지..궁금합니다.

부모님께서 이곳이 마음에 들어하신다니 천만 다행입니다.
그런데 부모님게서 관광비자로 여기 오셔서 계시면서 부모초청 이민 영주권 신청하는 것이 한국에 계시면서 신청하는 것 보다 더 까다롭다는 말이 있던데 혹시 우려가 되어서 글을 올립니다.
이나라 공무원들이 볼 때 한국서 관광으로 왔다가 그냥 눌러 앉는 것 아니냐? 그러면 애초에 들어올 때 의도가 순수하지 못한 것 아니냐? 하고 오해할 소지가 있다고 합니다.
그래도 부모님께서 이곳에 계시면서 이민을 추진하시겠다면 아무쪼록 변호사나 에이전트 조심해서 일 맡기시기 바랍니다

벌써 뉴질랜드에 계신다면 문제될것 없습니다. 그리고 관광비자 V2.5.1보시면:
Visitors to New Zealand are limited to a maximum stay on a visitor's permit of nine months unless they:
iv. have lodged a first-time application for residence that has been accepted for consideration, and a decision is unlikely during the currency of their existing permit.
라고 써 있습니다.
그리고, 부모님 초청은 서류도 별로 안까다로우니 직접하시고 돈 몇천불 아끼세요. 필요한것도 몇가지 안됩니다.

The Government's annual residence programme gives priority to skilled and business migrants and the partners of returning New Zealanders. The family capped stream (which comprises parent, adult child and sibling residence cases) is currently allocated 4,950–5500 places per year. Demand for these places currently exceeds supply.
With the exception of the Parent Retirement Category (see below), there is a current waiting time of 18–24 months for a place to become available within the cap. In practice this means that an application will usually take from 18-24 months from the time of lodgement to be allocated to a case officer for assessment.
