You have not given enough information for me to directly answer your query. However, I can try to explain generally about the "Employer-Assisted Work Visa".

The 2-year employer-assisted work visa is mostly dependent on "relevance". Relevance is assessed by INZ according to the immigration instructions WD1.5:

"WD1.5 Relevance of qualification(s) to employment

Qualifications are relevant to employment if:
a.  the major subject area and level of the principal applicant's recognised qualification is directly applicable to the employment; and
b.  the immigration officer is satisfied that the qualification was a key factor in the employer's decision to employ the principal applicant in that position."

So the test has 2 parts. First, the qualification must be "directly applicable" and secondly, the qualification must be a "key factor" in the employer's decision to hire you. These days immigration officers are being very strict about what is "directly applicable". If an applicant has a qualification in business management, then INZ expects to see a job as a manager or assistant manager. If the qualification is ICT, then the job should also be ICT. In other words.....the "job description" is the most important thing for your visa. Your job description must be related to your qualification transcript. If it is not directly applicable then INZ will likely try to decline your visa application.

The purpose of the "study to work" policy is for applicants to gain work experience. However, due to the high number of temporary visa applicants these days, INZ is being very strict about granting these visas. If you have a management qualification and you apply for a visa as an Admin Assistant, then you may have trouble to get your visa. Thank you for your comment I appreciate it. I've majored in Operations and supply chain management + Information systems at UOA. I was thinking I could describe my job title as Systems administrator due to the fact that I have participated in developing our version of operation system and my duty is to manage and maintain that operation system and those relevant data. On the assumption that my first official job title will be considered as an important factor in the future for my residency visa, I am not sure what my job title should be..
