A day of eco-activities, fun and music to launch Ecofest North, hosted at Kaipatiki Project's bush backyard amid the beautiful backdrop of Eskdale Scenic Reserve in Birkdale.

10.15 – 11am    Hamish Hopkinson, Kaipatiki Project Manager: The vision for a new Environment Centre/Community Hub

11.30 – 12.15    Stefan Sobkowiak: A presentation by visiting Canadian permaculture guru. Kicking off a 4 week national tour to help change the way we grow food.

12.30 – 1pm    Zambia de Berry: Learn to upcycle old tops into reuseable shopping bags with 10 year-old Zambia

1.00-1.45pm    Matthew Cutler-Welsh, Home Style Green: Presents ways to make healthier, more sustainable homes
