The changes affect parts of Auckland Central, Eden Terrace, Epsom, Freemans Bay, Grafton, Mt Eden, Newmarket, Newton and Parnell. Download a map (PDF) to see if your street is included.
This change doesn’t include the Inner CBD Bag Collection Area.
What’s changing?
Your rubbish will now be picked up during the day, rather than in the evening. You’ll need to make sure your bin is out before 7am so it gets collected.
It’s fine to put your bin out the night before if it helps you remember.
What’s not changing?
Your collection day will not be changing. Please continue to leave your bin out kerbside for collection.
