Get involved with Auckland’s future design by contributing to the Mixed Use design guide.
The Auckland Design Manual, home to Auckland’s best practice design, has been running an open forum on a Wikispace since January 18. This platform allows for anyone to view and comment on mixed use design topics.
The areas that can be commented on include: site planning, the building, parking and street to front door. Each section includes a detailed list of sub-headings, which can be reviewed.
By providing feedback, you’ll be contributing to the wider design guidance programme, as well as the Office and Retail Design Guides that will be created for the Auckland Design Manual in the future.
To get involved, all you need to do is click on the link: Mixed Use on Wikispaces, choose a category, read the examples and leave comments. There’s no limit to how many sections you can comment on either.
The draft Mixed Use Design Guide will be available for comment on Wikispaces until Friday March 25.
