Due to the recent resignations of three elected members, nominations for candidates for the Waitematā and Manurewa Local Board by-elections and the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Ward by-election are now open.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who thinks they have the skills and passion to represent their community to make a valuable contribution to Auckland,” says Auckland Council Electoral Officer Dale Ofsoske.
Nominations must be received by noon on Friday 22 December 2017 and must be accompanied by a deposit of $200, GST inclusive.

Voting documents will be posted to eligible voters from Friday 26 January 2018, with voting closing at noon on Saturday 17 February 2018.
