Auckland ferry users are now able to load monthly passes on their AT HOP card.
Previously HOP cards could only be used for individual trips but thanks to the development of the new Simplified Fares system, monthly pass options are available on most ferry routes.
For the first time, monthly passes are available for travel on the Beach Haven and Hobsonville services.
Monthly pass options
- Inner Harbour: For use on Devonport, Stanley Bay, Bayswater, Northcote Point and Birkenhead services. $145.
- Mid Harbour: For use on Half Moon Bay, Beach Haven, Hobsonville and West Harbour passenger services. $250.
- Outer Harbour: For use on the Gulf Harbour service. (Not currently available for Pine Harbour, Waiheke or Rakino services.) $290.
The monthly price does not include the one-off cost of a HOP card, which is $10.
