About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Employment & Enterprise Coordinator to support jobseekers into sustainable employment and build strong relationships with employers. This role combines employment coaching, job matching, employer engagement, and business development activities. You will proactively connect with employers, identify job opportunities, and advocate for jobseekers while supporting them throughout their employment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assess employment needs and develop personalised employment plans
· Provide CV, cover letter, interview, and job search coaching
· Support jobseekers to explore career pathways, training opportunities, and skills development options that lead to sustainable employment
· Proactively engage with employers to identify recruitment needs and secure employment opportunities for jobseekers
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and industry networks
· Promote the skills and strengths of jobseekers to prospective employers
· Identify employment opportunities and match suitable jobseekers to vacancies
· Support jobseekers through recruitment processes, interviews, and onboarding
· Provide post-placement support to both jobseekers and employers
· Maintain accurate records and service documentation
· Liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders
· Represent CNSST at employer, networking, and community engagement events as required
· Contribute to service improvement initiatives and team objectives
What You'll Bring:
· Experience in employment services, recruitment, career coaching, business development, social services, or a related field
· Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
· Confidence engaging with employers and developing new business relationships
· Knowledge of New Zealand employment practices and labour market trends
· Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
· Strong organisational and administrative skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and online job platforms
· Full New Zealand Driver Licence
· Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel
Desirable:
· Multilingual skills are highly desirable, particularly in Mandarin and/or Korean
