Education Institute Manager (Full-time, 37.5 Hours/Week)

We deliver integrated services across education, employment, settlement, and social support, with a strong reputation for enabling successful outcomes for diverse communities.
Our Education Institute provides programmes in language, culture, industry skills, and adult education. Through these programmes, we support learners to build confidence, achieve acculturation, and successfully transition into further study and employment in New Zealand. We also deliver nationally recognised qualifications and are expanding into higher-level training aligned with workforce needs.
About the Role:
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the overall performance, quality, and growth of the Education Institute.
You will lead programme strategy, academic delivery, and team performance, ensuring strong learner outcomes and full compliance with NZQA and TEC requirements.
The role requires a hands-on leader with a strong focus on programme development, capable of strengthening existing programmes while identifying and developing new training opportunities aligned with industry demand and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Education Institute strategy and performance
- Drive programme development and continuous improvement
- Ensure quality teaching, assessment, and learner engagement
- Manage tutor recruitment, allocation, and development
- Maintain compliance with NZQA and TEC requirements
- Lead reporting, audits, and quality assurance processes
- Oversee curriculum and teaching resource development
- Manage funding performance and resource allocation
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Support programme promotion and community engagement
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in education leadership or programme delivery
- Strong knowledge of NZQA and TEC frameworks
- Experience in programme development and academic governance
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Full, clean NZ Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Advanced English & Mandarin (written and verbal)
- Able to pass police vetting
