To support this, we are now looking for a Sales Executive with freight forwarding industry experience and a true hunter mindset to win new business and grow gross profit across our key trade lanes.

About the Role : Sales Executive

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will:

• Arrange minimum of 15 qualified customer meetings per week, aligned with target industries and trade lanes.

• Proactively identify and target new customers through prospecting, field visits, networking, referrals, and cold calling.

• Spend approximately 70% of your time on outside sales (customer site visits, face-to-face meetings) and the balance in inside sales (phone/online prospecting and follow-up).

• Understand customer supply chain needs and, together with the operations and pricing teams, design and sell customized Air & Ocean freight solutions.

• Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations and service agreements, and negotiate rates and terms in line with ACS pricing guidelines.

• Convert qualified leads to new trading accounts, ensuring structured onboarding, clear expectations and smooth implementation.

• Accurate and timely CRM updates, sales reporting, and forecast management.

You are a commercially sharp, self-motivated sales professional who enjoys being in front of customers and closing deals. You thrive in a competitive market and understand that consistent activity, strong relationships, and disciplined follow-through drive results.

You will bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience.

• Proven success in a Sales / Business Development role within freight forwarding, logistics ideally across both Air & Ocean.

• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding processes, pricing structures, and cost/revenue drivers.

• Demonstrated track record in winning, implementing and growing new business and managing a sales pipeline.

• Highly self-motivated, hands-on and proactive, with a strong hunter mentality and the ability to work autonomously in the field.

• Excellent relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels (internal and external).

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with solid experience using a CRM system as a core sales tool.
