We are looking for friendly, caring and proactive volunteers of varying age, gender and ethnic backgrounds to join our growing team.
Volunteers are needed to support our services with mainly phone call on a weekly basis (approximately 4 hours/week) – attending phone call enquires for NZ Health & Disability system, GP bookings and national screening and other health service information etc.
1. Requirements
· Be at least 18 years old
· Have Previous experience in volunteer work or paid employment where customer service was a high focus
· Be bilingual. Fluent in English and at least in one of ethnic languages such as:
v Arabic
v Punjabi
v Mandarin
v Cantonese
v Korean
v Hindi
v Tagalog
v Other ethnic languages

· Learn more about your district health and get new skills
In addition, Saturday & Sunday are available for Univ. students if looking for volunteer experience for to explore future clinical study and health related careers.
Work location – North Shore and/or Waitakere Hospital .
