Migrant Action Trust is a charitable organisation with more than ten years of experience in supporting migrant and former refugee communities.  We will be holding an “Employment Forum” catered for new migrants looking for work this Saturday.

This is a good opportunity to get first hand information & advice from employers & successful migrants, and develop jobsearch strategies. (This is a free event.)

Programme

- Industry-specific group discussion (IT, business, healthcare and community)

- Perspectives of employers/successful migrants & panel discussion

- Advice from successful migrants

- Speeches from the central and local government representatives

The forum is for new migrants such as:

- Work visa holder (incl. Silver Fern visa)

- Graduated  international students

- Resident visa holder for 2 years or less
