Josephine – Hello. I would like to report the theft of a lap-top, please.
조셉 – 안녕하세요. 노트북을 도난당해서 신고를 하고 싶습니다.
Rex – Just a minute. I’ll put you through to the non-emergency team.

Phil - Hi there. I hear that you have lost a lap-top. I will need to get some details from you so I can write up an incident report. First of all, when did this happen?
필 – 안녕하세요.노트북을 잃어버렸다고 들었습니다. 몇가지 세부 내용이 필요하오니 사건 보고를 작성하겠습니다. 먼저,이 사건이 언제 일어났습니까?
Josephine - Just this morning, at about 11 o’clock. I was studying in the library and I looked down and realized that my lap-top bag had disappeared from under the table.
조셉 – 오늘 오전 11시 경이였어요. 도서관에서 공부를 하다가 아래를 봤는데 테이블아래 제 노트북이 없어진걸 알았죠.
Phil - Was that at the City Library?
필 – 시티 도서관이였습니까?
Josephine – No, it was at the library on Great North Road. I can’t remember the name of it.
조셉 – 아니요,Great North Road에 있는 도서관이였어요. 도서관 이름이 생각이 안나네요.
Phil – Was it Grey Lynn Library, do you think?
필 – Grey Lynn 도서관이였습니까?
Josephine - That’s the one.
조셉 – 예 맞아요.
Phil - OK. Now, can you please describe your lap-top to me, including the colour, make, model and serial number. Does it have any distinguishing features?
필 – 알겠습니다.그 노트북에 대해서 묘사해 주실 수 있으십니까? 색상,브랜드,모델명,제조 번호도 말씀해 주십시오. 다른것과 구별되는 특징이 있습니까?
Josephine – It’s a black Toshiba Satellite 115. The serial number is 99311200. It has a long scratch on the lid which runs diagonally across the top. It’s quite noticeable.
조셉 – 제 노트북은 검정색Toshiba Satellite 115입니다. 제조번호는 99311200이고 노트북 겉에 대각선으로 아래에서 위까지 길게 가로질러 긁힌 자국이 있어요. 꽤 눈에 잘 띄어요.
Phil - Did you report the theft to anyone else?
필 – 다른 누군가에게도 도난신고를 하셨습니까?
Josephine – Yes, to the library staff. I gave them my phone number in case it turns up.
조셉 – 네,도서관 직원에게 신고했어요. 그것을 찾은 경우를 대비해서 제 전화번호를 드렸어요.
Phil - To be frank, we rarely recover stolen lap-tops. Your best bet is to check on Trademe and see if anyone tries to on-sell it. If you do see it online, it’s imperative that you call us straight away and let us deal with it. Please give me your contact details so that we can send you the complaint acknowledgement form in the post. You must keep this as a record of your report, and for insurance purposes.
필 – 솔직히 말씀 드리자면, 도난당한 노트북은 거의 찾을 수가 없습니다. 최선의 방안은 Trademe에서 그것을 누가 판매하려고 올려놓았는지 확인을 해 보십시오. 만약 그것을 온라인상에서 보게 되면 그것은 긴급한 상황입니다. 곧바로 저희에게 전화를 주시면 처리해 드리겠습니다.연락처를 남겨주시면 사건을 진술할 수 있는 양식서를 우편으로 보내드리겠습니다. 보험청구를 위해서도 이 양식서를 반드시 보관하셔야 합니다.
